Mike hails from North Carolina where he grew to appreciate thunderstorms, warm rain, and summertime icy pops (though he doesn't have much of an accent). His various childhood aspirations of becoming Batman, a fighter pilot, or an adventurous archeologist were all dashed by various doses of reality but were perhaps attributes to an imaginative spirit. To the chagrin of his parents he took up the arts: writing, drawing, and wandering around with a camera seemed much more fun than whatever lawyers do and less gross than how doctors typically spend their day. He is a storyteller, pragmatic thinker, and optimist. A hilariously bad ice skater. A strong proponent of exposing to the right and that ideal Sundays are changing from pajamas into more pajamas.
